Steak Stir Fry

Quick freezer grab. Steak is marinated, got frozen veg mix, and frozen rice.

Breakfast – Just bacon & egg

Lunch – Arroz con Pollo or Chicken with Rice

Frozen steak marinated in Asian flavors, garlic, soy, ginger.
Just 10 seconds in the micro. You don’t want it to even thaw, just soften a bit.
Check the direction of the striations or grain of the meat.
Slice across the grain.
The still frozen steak is easier to get thin slices. Look how nicely marbled and how far the marinade has penetrated to bring those great Asian flavors.
Assemble some sauces.
Heat a pan, add some oil and get it hot, then add the sliced steak.
You don’t want to cook the steak all the way through. Quick sear.
Add a good handful of the frozen stir fry mix and heat through.
Toss with some soy, oyster and hoisin sauce.
Warm some rice in the micro. And top with sesame seed.
Chopsticks … or a fork.
