Hamburger Gravy

Everyone loves biscuits and gravy, usually sausage with cream gravy. But did you know you can do the same with ground beef? Quick, comforting, and budget friendly.

Breakfast – Pina Colada Overnight Oats

Lunch – Roasted Red Pepper Chicken sauce with freezer Baked Rice

Prep a batch of biscuits from Biscuit mix
Into the oven for 15ish minutes.
Chop some onion and garlic.
Heat oil in a saute pan, and add ground meat. Breaking it up as it browns.
Add in the garlic and onion, salt, and a good amount of pepper.
Add a tablespoon of flour.
Cook out the flour until you see no more white, and all the fat is absorbed.
Put in about 1/4 teaspoon beef base, or bullion.
Add 1/2 cup milk – more if it gets too thick.
Take the biscuits from the oven.
Break up one biscuit and smother with the gravy – have the other with butter.
Add a salad with some ranch. Homey comfort.

I have always cooked, I was that person who could make a meal from an empty fridge. I have lived alone and with large and small families, I have cooked for camps on wood stoves, and in professional kitchens. I have lived and worked all over the west from Montana, to Seattle to Arizona to San Diego. I have traveled, maybe not 'all over the world', yet, and have collected tastes recipes and techniques everywhere, and every one I meet.
