Pizza muffins

May be a throwback, but still works.

An Italian sausage, an English muffin, tomato paste, basil, Italian seasoning, and mozzarella.
Turn oven broiler on high.
Remove the casing from the thawed sausage.
Place sausage in hot pan over medium high heat.
Break up the sausage and brown.
Brown the sausage and drain excess fat.
Toast the English muffin.
Spread muffin with tomato paste, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and dried basil.
Divide the sausage between the two muffin halves.
Top with sliced mozzarella.
Pop under the preheated broiler to melt the cheese.
Add a salad.
