Hash & egg

Last night I made some lovely lamb chops and used a fairly large potato to make some pan fries or hash. I intentionally made the whole potato so I would have some leftovers to use for breakfast.

I pulled the hash from the container onto a plate and topped with a bit of cheese.
Grabbed an egg from the fridge.
I popped the hash and cheese into the micro for a minute or so depending on your micro. Quickly fried an egg in the bacon fat left in the 8″ cast iron from yesterday.
Cheesy hash and egg … nothing wrong with that.
Gooey cheesy goodness!

I have always cooked, I was that person who could make a meal from an empty fridge. I have lived alone and with large and small families, I have cooked for camps on wood stoves, and in professional kitchens.
